The project uses garter stitch, picking up stitches and decreasing and I would say it is an easy project. You pickup stitches from one square to create the next square meaning there is little sewing up at the end of the project. Full instructions and diagrams are provided.
The pattern includes instructions for the claudette scarf as well.
6 different shades of yarn are used in the project. I used rowan Felted Tweed 1 ball of each.
