Designed as an alternative to a Christmas Stocking.
This knitting pattern is so versatile it can be used as a Scented Christmas sack filled with herbs and spices, or alternatively filled with chocolates and small gifts for little and large people to discover on Christmas morning. Hang from the mantelpiece or display under the tree.
You will need approx 15grams of yarn in each colour for one sack.
A small quantity of polyester toy filling for the snowballs.
One pair of 4mm (UK8-USA6) knitting needles.
4 x 4mm (UK8-USA6) Double pointed knitting needles.
1 stitch holder and 1 tapestry needle.
The pattern is written and charted. Very quick to knit and because you need so little yarn it's a great stash busting project. The finished sack measures approx 8" in height and 5" in width.
