Chimaira is a wonderfully light shawl that makes clever use of short rows to create an asymmetrical and eye-catching colorplay.
The shawl is worked outwards from the center of the top edge, with increases at the beginning and end of each row as well as around the off-centered spine.
The amazingly silky and soft Wisp by Dream in Color adds beautiful drape and subtle sheen to Chimaira, making it a wonderful choice for knitting up this piece. A substitute yarn is shown below.
Skills needed are cast on, knit, kfb, k2tog, yo, short rows and bind off.
