The Chasing Chevrons Blanket is crocheted in the round and would be suited to a confident beginner who is comfortable working in the round using treble and half treble stitches (U.K). The pattern includes instructions and images for the first 13 rounds. From round 14 notes and a diagram demonstrating the pattern repeat is included to help you continue through the pattern.
I used 200g Scheepjes Whirlette (Spearmint) which created a blanket, measuring approx 74 x 74cm. Guage is included but not necessary as any yarn can be used.
