These socks would be ideal for intermediate sock knitters who would like to try adding a festive themed lace pattern to their socks.
The designfor these socks was inspired by the holiday season. I wanted a festive lace pattern design that would instantly make everyone think of that most wonderful time of the year. My candy cane lace pattern is a very straightforward pattern to follow - it is an 8-stitch pattern repeat and the size of this sock can easily be adapted to a larger or smaller size. I’m also hoping to help knitters understand how cuff down socks with a traditional gusset develop with this very simple yet elegant sock pattern.
