This pattern, like my Cabled Sea Turtle Socks and Cabled Sea Turtle Mitts uses cabling techniques to create a sea turtle on the hat. The remainder of the hat is worked in cabled ribbing that resembles seaweed and makes the hat super stretchy. There are charted and written directions included in the pattern. The child size is 17"/43 cm in circumference but can easily stretch to 20"/51 cm, and is 7"/18 cm tall. The adult size is 20"/51 cm in circumference, will stretch up to 23"/58.5 cm, and is 8"/20.5 cm tall.
