This lovely sweater is inspired by making the location of where seams of a sweater are traditionally located to be celebrated through cables as part of a seamless sweater worked entirely in the round.
The sweater is knitted with 4mm (6US) needles from the bottom up with a yoke top. The body is knit in the round from the bottom up until the sleeve holes. The sleeves are worked separately until the desired length. The sleeves and body are then placed on the same circular needle to work the yoke.
The pattern includes instructions for five sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. The corresponding blocked bust measurements for these sizes are 30.5” (35”, 39”, 42”, 46.5”).
The sample is knit with DK weight wool, Bloomsbury DK(100% Wool, DK) in Surf (105). Each ball is 100 grams/240meters (263 yards). The number of balls of yarn for each size are: 5 (6, 6, 7, 8).
The pattern include a chart for the cable detail of the sweater.
