Bunsie the ferret aka polecat

Meet Bunsie, a crochet ferret or polecat. With this easy pattern, you can even make a crochet version of your own ferret.

Size: 6 inch/ 15,5 cm when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.

The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.

Materials Worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn, I have used brown (1/4 of a 100 yard skein), oatmeal (1/8) and a bit of white for the muzzle. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. I crocheted a nose with a brown strand, split in half and used hook 2.5 mm (B US). You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 0867 and 1419 and 0051.
