🪺 Many species of garden and woodland birds are nesting at Eastertime.
These tiny, knitted nests hold a clutch of mini chocolate eggs and have a sitting Blue Tit, Robin, Song Thrush and Blackbird!
🪹 Nest diameter is 7cm and holds any brand of mini foiled Easter Eggs. Birds measure 5cm.
They make lovely table favours for all Springtime occasions and pretty decorations for an Easter tree or hide in garden shrubs for an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt.
All are made with two straight needles and leftover oddments of DK yarn + scraps of stuffing.
Please be familiar with the intarsia technique of changing colours midrow.
