Knitted top-down from a garter stitch tab, this elegant shawl was a pleasure to make. The stocking stitch centre drapes wonderfully in this silk/wool yarn and the stitch definition of the blend works beautifully to show off the sculptured lace border of classic lace pattern repeats. I was surprised at how quickly my new shawl worked up and at what a large shawl I could get out of just one skein of yarn. All in all, a great project which is interesting to work and very wearable in finish.
