Easy crochet bag using basic crochet stitches using US terminology of chains, single crochet, half double crochets and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated but still has an overall affect of looking fabulous. For UK crocheters there is a stitch conversion for you.
I have designed the bag in three pieces. A front and a back section, which are identical, and a long circular piece which forms the strap. The strap wraps around both sides of the bag giving it strength and durability. For this pattern I have used a 10 ply chunky cotton but I have also made this bag in a 12 ply cotton acrylic and it looks just as good but will be a little larger.

Overall Drop Including Handle : 60cm (This is measured with the bag flat. Strap can be adjusted as required).
Width Of Bag: 40cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).
Depth Of Bag Middle: 30cm (This measurement was taken while bag was flat).
