This beanie was a pattern request of a father whose new baby got the baby Bavarian beanie as a gift. He also liked to have a big one for himself.
So I made this pattern.
Christine has testknitted it for me about a year ago and I was waiting for the next Oktoberfest to go for the publish :)

The beanie has a one color ribbing, followed by a pretzel border pattern and the Bavarian pattern in blue and white.
You can use 4- to 5-ply yarn (e.g. sock yarn, Acrylic or Merino yarn).
