The Basket Weave was the first more advanced crochet technique I learned as a new crochet artist. It has an wonderful texture excellent for dishcloths. If you can learn a new crochet technique and make a fabulous housewarming gift at the same time why wouldn't you?
This dishcloth double crochet, front post double crochet and back post double crochet techniques. I have added a diagram with text instructions for the post stitches so that you can learn the stitches. I have set this pattern as intermediate but a beginner could use this pattern as well.
Pattern uses 4 oz of worsted weight cotton yarn and an H hook. Gauge is included. Happy Hooking!
