Banyan Leaf Scarf ( Stay On Scarflette )

**Banyan Scarf **

This is a stay on scarflette. I inspired Banyan tree leaf and want to make a scarf with this shape long time ago. So, I used right and left leaning cables to form the shape in this pattern. These cables are not basic cables and I made videos to help new knitters. I put the YouTube link in the written pattern PDF file.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Skill needed: Basic knit and purl sts, increasing, decreasing, lace sts, left and right leaning cable sts, twisted cable sts

Size: Adult (Length: 28.5 in/ 72 cm, Wide: 5.2 in/ 13.5 cm)

Gauge: 20 sts x 25 rows equal 4 in/ 10 cm in Stocking sts OR 22 sts x 34 rows equal 4 in/ 10 cm in Seed sts

Needles & materials: US7/ UK7/ 4.5 mm knitting needles, 2 cable needles, yarn needle, a marker, 1 big button

Yarn needed: Category 4 medium worsted weight yarn approx. 160 yds/ 146 m

Yarn I used: 99% Acrylic, 1% Metallic Polyester Caron Simply Soft Party (H97PAR0019) Platinum Sparkle (1 skein)
