This pattern is of advanced beginner difficulty.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up, with the body in one piece, then divided at the armholes with back and front sections finished separately. Set-in sleeves are worked flat separately, then attached and seamed at armhole and underarm. The cardigan can be made in 4 sizes, and the knot stitch instruction is written. The hat is worked in the round, using DPNs or circular needles, with a series of decreases to close the crown, then a short i-cord section to form the top knot. Sizes: NB (0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months)
