Autonomous Hat

This hat can be knit all in one color or for more punch, add in a second color for the pompom. Have you sometimes stumbled on pretty leftovers in your stash where the colors make a good match, but they can’t be used together because their yarns weights are just too different? Now, now can pair them in one hat by making the pompom from a different yarn, because for this, the yarn weight doesn’t matter.

Autonomous has one other great advantage! It is reversible :) So attach your huge pompom to the safety pin and you can wear it on either side of your hat.
