Aspen Baby Blanket

Crochet Pattern - Aspen Baby Blanket  This is a special blanket for me because it was designed for my first grandchild. I wanted something a little bit rustic, with some texture, yet sweet and soft. It was fun to add the color-changing earthy yarn to give it a bit of artistic interest. This multi-color yarn, which make up half of the flowers, can be substituted with another solid color yarn.  The blanket is made with 4 different colors of worsted weight yarn, and uses simple crochet stitches (sc, hdc, dc). The pattern has detailed instructions with pictures of each step for additional help..  The finished size of this blanket is approximately 32 by 38 inches, and can easily be made into a larger throw.
