Produktdetails
Artemis socks are worked from cuff down with a reinforced, slipped stitch heel flap and a gusset. Cuff, heel and toes are worked in contrasting color but the sock looks beautiful in just one color as well.
The sample socks are knitted with Annabel Williams Naturally Dyed Corriedale Sock set. The yarn is dyed naturally using avocado. The name Artemis is a celebration of all female makers as well as Annabel's talent for natural dyes. Artemis was the Greek goddess of animals and wilderness. The intertwining cables remind me of her symbols, stags and bows, and the brownish colors make me think of fawns and other forest fauna.
