The Argyle Check Socks are worked in mostly garter stitch in two colours, with travelling stitches forming an argyle resembling surface pattern. The toe, sole and heel are worked with slipped stitches, creating a soft and thick fabric for yummie warmth.
They are worked from the top down with a heel flap and rounded toe.
Materials Yarn: 50 g each of two colours of Fru Valborg Merino Swirl Swirl (80% merino superwash, 20% polyamide, 365 m / 100 g) or equivalent Needles and notions: Double pointed needles size 2½ mm or US 1½, 4 stitch markers Gauge: 32 stitches / 42 rounds in Stockinette stitch = 10cm or 4 inches Sizes: Ladies XS, S, M, L
