I designed this blanket for my daughter as I wanted to create something cheerful and colourful whilst being suitable for a baby and I think that the soft rainbow palette works really well. This pattern is ideal for beginners and the nature of stitching into the spaces means that it works up fairly quickly and also gives the blanket a chunkier finish.
