Alpental Neckwarmer is a striking modern accessory that pairs large textured bobbles with classic cables. It is first worked flat in two pieces. Then, shoulder stitches are cast on using the backwards loop cast-on method and the piece is worked in the round with shoulder decreases on both sides. After shoulder decreases are completed, the turtleneck collar is worked until the desired length.
The sample shown is made from worsted Forge by Hudson+West (70% merino wool / 30% Corriedale); 235 yards (215 meters) / 3.5 oz (100 g).
