Alba Cardigan is designed to preserve the clean line of garter stitch, both for its understated elegance and for the practicality of not having to purl. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is added at the end to give you maximum finishing flexibility. The construction is planned so that even though the neckline is worked last, there is no visible pickup line along the front neck. This allows you to wear it with the lapel folded over and still keep a smooth, uninterrupted look.Alba Cardigan is graded with inclusive sizing in mind and is designed to fit actual bust sizes from 76 cm / 30 inches to 168 cm / 66 inches. Measurements are given in both centimeters and inches.The sample was knit in Cardiff Cashmere Prime. A substitute yarn is shown below.
