Been knitting and crocheting since I was very small. Mum taught me to knit and Granny taught me to crotchet. I started off knitting dolls clothes which have since been passed on to first my daughter and now my grandson.
I love knitting the most but do like it if my projects are worn/ used.
I go through phases of projects. Blankets, jumpers, baby clothes, accessories. I love Martin Storey patterns but can rarely afford the Cost of the Rowan wool to complete large projects.
I’ve recently discovered West Yorkshire Spinners yarn, WYS, locally spun and real quality. I also love Rowan yarns which are even more local, in Holmfirth. Both of these can be somewhat pricey unless it’s a small project only requiring a ball or you find it in a yarn sale.
