    Beschreibung

    I used as my starting point the Little Boxes pattern I saw on Instagram; can be found on Ravelry. NOTE that I’ve picked the wrong pattern from Love Crafts but can’t delete it without having to start all over again ….     I’m not a fan of afterthought heels so I used my usual ‘go to” sock pattern, 64 st cast on. To avoid getting in a tangle with pattern matching round the gusset, used helical knitting with 2 different wools.
    The variegated yarn is Paintbox sock yarn, Fair Isle Arcade. The plain colours are all Millimia.
    The heels are in Pheasant’s Eye with 2 alternating rows which always amazes when it comes out in stripes.

      Oh wow now these are really nice! I was thinking about playing with colours, mostly to use leftover yarn and this seems like a perfect example of what you can do.
