      I see what you mean about the lining.
      It could have been made into the coat , and the lining the plainer of the two, to show it off better.
      Still, it’s a creation of beauty💖

        Linzi, I was disappointed as all the work goes into the lining and yet when worn, the only part of the lining that will be seen are the cuffs! Also I wish I had of sewn the shoulder and sleeve seams using mattress stitch as opposed to back stitch as it is quite a bulky garment.

        @Glenyss: Yes, I can see how one would be a bit disappointed that all the beautiful pattern is hidden. Luckily we can all see your fabulous hard work Glenyss, it's still gorgeous 😉

        Hi Jennifer, many thanks! My niece lives down in the country near Yass where it gets quite cold in winter, so her little girl should get some wear out of it. Would not recommend it for Sydney weather!
