Here is a quick and easy knitting pattern for baby girl slippers/ booties.Pattern features a lovely slipper design with decorative button detail at centre front.Make these extra special by choosing some of the really cute decorative buttons around.These booties stay on very well.The patterns is knit flat on two needles but could easily be adapted to be knit in the round.The pattern comes in 5 sizes:Premature,Newborn,3 months,6 months,12 monthsTo Fit Feet of approx.: 6,7,8,10,11.5 cm or 2 1/2, 3,3 1/4,4, 4 1/2 inchesThe contrast colour cuff is an optional extra, instructions are included.Materials:4 ply (Sports or Baby weight) wool yarn 50 g in main colour for slippers 25 g in contrast colour for cuff(optional) 2 small decorative buttons 10 or 12 mm or 1/4 to 3/8 "Knitting needles: 3.25mm, you can use a pair of straight needles, I used a 40 cm circular needle as I find this easier to use.Pattern is copyrighted and intended for personal use only.
