These wrist warmers use three crochet techniques: The main part is crocheted in back loop only slip stitch, which is wonderfully stretchy. For the decorative section at the back of the hand I invented a method of combining Tunisian Crochet with Bruges Crochet.
The prototypes for this pattern were crocheted from hand-dyed sock yarn from ManuFactu. The woman behind ManuFactu is Barbara and so I named these wrist warmers after her.
