    About

My daughter saw a checked jumper online & asked me to make one for his birthday/ Christmas. This is what I came up with. Tension was a nightmare as the Fairisle came out larger than st.st. I did learn to hold 2 strands of wool in different hands though for the Fair Isle. V proud of myself!
I had loads of yarn left so made a matching bobble hat.

What a stunning jumper! Well done with figuring out the tension, I had to unpick quite a lot of nearly finished jumper due to this... the cardigan is stunning!

What a lovely cardigan and hat, it looks very smart. The colours are soft yet eye catching.
Well done on learning to hold your yarn in two hands, I keep reverting back to one hand and I cant knit for long gripping too tight lol

It’s certainly takes some practice & made getting the tension even in both strands somewhat challenging. I wasn’t always very successful. Fortunately Jakey’s is only 2 so won’t notice!
