Product Details
This pattern is intermediate level, but could also be appropriate for confident beginners who wish to level up their skills. The sweater is worked from the top down, then the front and back are knit flat before joining in the round and knitting to the desired length. The set in sleeves are constructed from the top down using German Short Rows and simple increases to make the puffs. For added structure, the rolled neckline is picked up and knit at the end.
The pattern includes links to videos of each step of the process, as well as photos of the sweater in progress, so you will know just what to do--no guesswork involved.
The sweater is designed to fit with 1’ negative ease and can be knit cropped or full length. An attached alteration worksheet provides directions and plug-and-go formulas for upper bust, full bust, waist, and sleeve (bicep width and Marilla’s Perfectly Sensible Puff) alterations.
