The blanket calls for a DK yarn, but thanks to the lace pattern it's not heavy and it is suitable also for Spring and Autumn. I chose a neutral greige colour, perfect for baby girls as well as baby boys but feel free to knit it in your favourite colour.
Remember that lighter colours make all details of a lace patterns more visible.
The blanket measures ca. 60 x 75 cm and comes with a coordinated beanie (size 0-3 months), with the same pattern.
About 7 skeins in all for the blanket and the beanie, with this gauge.
