Pattern written so there is minimal sewing. The only items needing to be sewn is the shell, front shell plate and head.
**Skills required**: crocheting in the round, magic ring, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, invisible increase and decrease, slip stitch. Face shaping.

Testers Used Worsted Weight Yarn, Bernat Blanket and Bernat Velvet Yarn - instructions are included in the pattern that testers used to have successful makes using different yarn than the pattern used.
Turtles Main Body 1.5 Balls ( Turtle Shells Front and Back: 2 colours about 1/4 of the ball for front Plate and Back with small amount for contrasting colour of back shell.
