The Ice Cream Hat can be elegant in a soft neutral or you can have some fun and choose a bright colourful “flavour”. Bead placement is optional and I think a few beads is better and only in the upper part to let the baby sleep peacefully even with the hat on his head. Choose to add a bit of sparkle or play with more colour to hint at sugary sprinkles.
German short rows are used in the ribbed brim.
