Lovely soft wool in a wide range of colours, so I was able to get the colours I needed for a striped jumper. Although described as DK on the Lovecrafts website, the yarn was in fact worsted weight and labelled as 4 medium. There was no way it would knit up to the correct gauge for my DK pattern and had to be returned. I have only given this yarn 2 stars as it was not as described but, had I been looking for a worsted yarn, I would have given it 4 or 5. Please Lovecrafts check your descriptions: it is very disappointing to have to return items simply because they have been described inaccurately on your website.
Lovely soft wool . Have used Aran weight previously which has worn and washed well
