It’s the best wool I have ever used. Thick, soft and very easy to kit up. Good for Aran work I have knitted myself a warm jacket which I will enjoy wearing next winter. At the moment I am knitting beanies and it’s brilliant for making a really thick warm beanie in one skein of wool.

This sweater is to be a gift so I wanted it to be easily washable this wool yarn is soft has a lovely colour saturation, good even twist, altogether a superior quality product plus it was such a great price for such quality will certainly buy more.

Good yarn choice
I have used Cascadia yarns multiple times before. They are a good value for a very nice product -- especially for washable garments for children. This particular yarn (weight) acted more as a worsted than a DK, so I returned it for not being as categorized on the site, but the company is super-gracious in customer satisfaction, and the yarn would be great if you can think of it more as a worsted weight.
Surpassed my already high expectations!
I bought this to knit socks for my daughter-in-law who always has cold feet. Mostly I was interested in ease of care since she is a working mother. For some reason, I presumed it was fingering, but discovered my mistake when it arrived. Thought I’d try it anyway, although I‘ve had to alter the pattern due to the thickness of the yarn.
