But this cute witch beanie is not only for Halloween.
I think many of us loved the little witch when we were small. I still do!

I have another sweet story to go with it.
One of my testknitters told me, that she always knits hats for others and gives them away. So whenever she is cold, she has no hat.
This reminds her of "the little witch" in the story where she helps the Maroni guy to get warm but freezes herself.
So she is gonna keep the beanie this time for herself :)
The beanie has at most two colors in one round. So it's easier to knit than you may think!
It has a three color ribbing, followed the city (houses) at night below , then comes the witch on her broom with the cat at her back. She is surrounded by some bats and ravens.
Then comes the starry sky and the full moon with some clouds above. The crown is made of tiny sitting black cats looking over their shoulder, forming a beautiful star at the top!
