The Winter Whimsy Cropped Sweater adds more than a bit of fun to your winter wardrobe. It hits right at the waist, is oversized with dropped shoulders, and features puffed bell sleeves.
The construction is fairly simple, knit from the bottom up in the round. The hem and collar feature the seed stitch.

I was a bit disappointed with this pattern Not sure if it’s just me. Felt the seed stitch parts needed to be worked on smaller needles to lie properly (though to be fair the bulkiness does show on the pattern photo and might conceivably be a style choice). Also the instructions for seed stitch on the sleeves would not work for odd numbered cast ons. And I think beginners would have appreciated a reminder to ensure work is not twisted before joining in the round. Also with larger sizes joining the shoulders neatly might be difficult. I pulled it out twice and decided to use the yarn for something else.
