This pattern has been tech edited, written in metric and imperial units, tested in every size and color coded for ease. You can use circular or striaght needles for this design.
The Windflowers (lace leaves) are knit in multiples of 22 stitches + 3 and 12 rows + 1 set up row.
This pattern uses a 3 needle bind off for the shoulders, but you can also use a regular bind off if you prefer it.
You can easily adapt the body of the sweater to be longer by knitting more rows of stockinette on your front and back pieces before beginning the neck and armpit decreases. Pattern includes instruction for where to add more rows if you wish to.
The lace cuff measures approximately 4.5"-5.25" (11.4cm-13.3cm) long. The measurements for the sleeve lengths do not include the 4.5"-5.25" (11.4cm-13.3cm) of ribbing.
The lace ribbing for the front and back measures approximately 3.75"-4.75" (9.5cm-12cm) long. The measurements for the front and back lengths do not include the 3.75"-4.75" (9.5cm-12cm) of ribbing.
