Wildfire Hat was inspired by my own surreal experience of seeing a wild fire in the Rocky Mountains, and (I hope) it gives a respecftul nod to the eerie beauty and awe that nature inspires.
Using wide charts with few repeats and beautiful colour-changing yarns, this hat is a creative exercise in colorwork.
Needles: 3mm/US Size 2.5 circular needle (40-50cm/16-20in long recommended) 3.25mm/US Size 3 circular needle (40-50cm/16-20in long recommended) 3.25mm/US Size 3 double-pointed needles (dpns)
Notions: Removable stitch markers & tapestry needle
