It’s something simple with a hint of retro about this hat! I love the Westie pattern. Where ever they show up they make everyone cheerful.
The hat is knitted bottom up and gets a firm fabric by using slightly smaller needles that recommended for DK weight yarn.
Knit one for yourself and as gifts.

In an early version of the pattern the chart has 23 stitches, the correct number is 24 stitches. The chart is repeated 6 times;
