Wee Trio of Stockings

This diminutive trio of stockings are a delight to hang as decorations at Christmastime or to use as a unique gift wrap for cash or gift cards for those who are more difficult to buy gifts for (I have a few of those in my family)!!

They are knit with aran weight yarn, from the top down, ending with a rounded toe. There are instructions for a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however this can be changed to your own choice of short row or FLK heel. They are knit using the magic loop method, but can be adapted to suit your preferred method of knitting in the round.

**Needles:** 4.5 mm (US 7) 60” circular needles/dpns

**Yarn:** Donegal Yarns Irish Heather Aran or any aran weight yarn 100g (164 yds/150m) x two contrasting colours.

Sample Trio use a total of MC - 40g (66 yds/ 60m) CC - 15g (25 yds/ 23m)

Gauge: 20 sts x 24 rows per 4 inches using 4.5 mm (US 7) needle in stocking stitch. Although gauge is not essential it will impact the amount of yarn required.
