There are two very cables (one that is Japanese and the other is an old Aran cable) in this shawl that combine beautifully into a single shawl
They are both written out and charted.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).
The sample was knit with Lorna's Shepherd Worsted, but any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you don't want to make the optional crocheted edging.
