Product Details

If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

There are two cables contained within this pattern. One is a most unusual geometric cable, and the other is the honeycomb cable, that is a famous old Aran cable. The two blend together beautifully.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

Both stitches are charted only. (Note: There are two charts contained in this pattern, one in color, for those people that find that easier to use, and the same stitch using a conventional black and white chart.)

There is also a schematic to help you with the patch pocket placement.

The sample was knit with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted, but any worsted weight yarn will work for thhis pattern.

No crochet hooks are needed i you don't want to edge the shawl.
