Product Details
“Wanderlust” is a fingerless gloves knitting pattern, perfect for spring and autumn!
It incorporates cables for an eye-catching handmade garment and k1p1 ribbing that gives these gloves extra elasticity and ensures they’ll fit most people.
They adjust to the hand and they’re comfortable to wear, without being too loose or too tight.
This is a relatively quick and easy knitting project, given that it’s a small garment and you don’t need to knit the fingers.
The yarn used is Stylecraft Batik DK, a wool and acrylic blend in colour cream 1900 and the needles are 2.5mm/US 1.5
circular needles, knitted using the magic loop method with half the stitches on one needle (front side) and half the stitches on the
other (back side).
You will need two skeins (50g each) because the pattern uses approximately 75-80g of yarn, or 220m/242yds total.
The gauge is 20x22 sts in a 5x5cm/2x2” blocked and unstretched swatch in k1p1 ribbing.
Happy knitting!
