Product Details
As I love to play with numbers, this pattern follows a simple numerical sequence symmetrical to the shawl centre. While the knitting proceeds with natural rhythm, row by row a growing alternation of lace holes starts to decorate the shawl up to the lace section inspired by wild inflorescences similar to japanese umbrellas. Hence its name Wagasa.**As Natalya, one of my testers, wrote me: “I got the connection between knitting and math… It’s so logical! I love this kind of patterns.”*This is exactly what I had in mind and I couldn’t explain it better!!! ♥
GAUGE18 sts by 32 rows in 10 cm/4” in stockinette after blocking it with pins.
