Part of the original SHIBUI FORM collection introduced in the Fall of 2013, VEER is the second in my 10th Anniversary relaunches. Deceptively simple, this v-neck, tunic length sweater is knit in the round, with a flattering dropped hemline. Simple increases define the shape, and fitted sleeves are juxtaposed against the loose, easy fit.
And, I am so excited to launch VEER in sizes ranging from XS to 3X. VEER has been a staple in my sweater wardrobe, since it launched. The combination of these 2 yarns from Shibui is my favorite. Almost iridescent, light weight and soft to the touch, Cima and Silk Cloud knit up into a luxurious fabric. I am so excited to have it available now in my full size range!
CONSTRUCTION BODY is worked in the round from hem to armholes, with lower body shaped using short rows and increases. Work is then divided for FRONT and BACK and worked flat to shoulders. Shoulders are sewn and SLEEVES are picked up from armhole edge and worked in the round to cuff.
