Product Details
Colourwork goes graphic in this bold hat. Double knitting offers a fresh take on a traditional pattern: since there are no floats to manage, the motifs can be considerably larger, while a double layer of wool offers extra warmth for cold climates. With an innovative construction, knitted seamlessly from a provisional cast-on, Tarradale is fully reversible. A neat swirl crown finishes this hat off to perfection.
Yarn
190 (230, 270) m / 210 (250, 290) yds of each of two colours. It is recommended to use a singles yarn with a high wool content, with some body that will block well. Choose two highly contrasting colours.
Sample is made using:
Kate Davies Designs Milarrochy Tweed (70% wool; 30% mohair; 100 m / 109 yds per 25 g ball). MC - Birkin: 2 (3, 3) balls CC - Lochan: 2 (3, 3) balls
