Taraxacum

Light as a whisper and intricate as nature itself, Taraxacum draws inspiration from the delicate form of a dandelion ready to scatter its seeds to the wind. This semi-circular shawl combines bold contrasts with an airy, almost embroidered effect to create a design that feels both organic and architectural.

Construction

Taraxacum is a top-down half-circular shawl started with an i-cord tab, then shaped by increases alternatively positioned after the CC lines created by simply slipping stitches when working with the main color. Lateral i-cords give a finished look with no effort.

The delicate dip stitches add a touch of whimsy, mimicking hand embroidery without interrupting the flow of the knitting.
