Product Details
Taboo is a top down, crescent shaped, shawl using two colours. It is lacy, beaded, dramatic and magical! I have used Miss Babs Wild Silk - one variegated and one solid (the shawl is designed for either to be used as Yarn A or Yarn B) but this shawl can be knit in almost any lace weight silk yarn (or a yarn containing a high proportion of silk). You will need about 700m of Yarn A, about 150m of Yarn B and just under 750 Miyuki or Toho Size 6 seed beads to match Yarn B (these are used on Yarn A but will tie the two yarns together visually).
The pattern includes charts and full written instructions with bead placement shown clearly in both sets of directions. You will find it useful to print your pattern on a colour printer though should you not have one you could always use a coloured pencil to mark your beaded stitches.
