Here at Stitchdoodles we are all about creativity. Sitchdoodles was created in 2019 after I was finding it difficult to find hand embroidery patterns that were exciting and a bit different from the usual. Wanting to combine our love of hand embroidery stitches, traditional sampler techniques as well as quilt designs(!) I decided to come up with something myself and it has evolved into an array of wonderful and colourful designs that will hopefully inspire and excite people to pick up a needle and get 'happy stitching’.

• Each pattern comes with details on the colors, threads, and materials required.
• Easy to follow instructions are given along with full-color photos.
• All templates are provided actual size.

The design is based on a 17th-century band sampler with traditional motifs. The design is split into 12 blocks with the opportunity to explore lots of stitches and create a fabulous sampler.

The template is given in 2 formats so you can choose to stitch an 8-inch circular version or a 7 x 7.5 inch rectangular version. The Spring Sampler, Hand Embroidery Pattern details the floss and stitches I used in the example photo but feel free to make your own choices – it’s up to you!
