For starters, I’m an intermediate level knitter who just recently found the delight of stockings. I loved this pattern and since we have a sibling gift exchange each Christmas, I thought it would be perfect for my brother. The pattern is easy to read and follow. I had a little trouble with the heel, but as I was working it up, I just kept trusting the process. (I’m used to working an afterthought heel.) Due to my somewhat remote location and limited budget, I used Caron Simply soft yarn. I used a 4mm hook instead of the 3.5 mm. If you are new to color work, this stocking will challenge your skills! I would definitely recommend. Sadly I did not get a photo before I boxed it up and shipped it off.
